I love smoothies. I love mason jars. And I love the sun. Together, these made my weekend something special. I’m busily finishing my semester and heading toward graduation in a month and then moving to begin grad school. It’s very easy for me to get caught up in it all and begin feeling sad or stressed. But every day is a new day, and we are given that chance to have a fresh start. If you find yourself stressed or upset, try taking a day for yourself, to relax and reset. Perhaps wake up and start your day at the gym to get those endorphins pumping. And make yourself a mason jar, guilt-free smoothie to cool off.
Strawberry Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie: (GF, DF no added sugar)
- 1 frozen banana (sliced)
- 3 strawberries
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- 1 Tblsp MaraNatha peanut butter
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 mason jar (very important!)
- Pool, sunshine, and some music or a good book
Blend all ingredients together and radiate rainbows and sunshine. Fresh start, reset. Ready… Go!
