Chick-a-Biddy

Atlanta, GA (downtown)

Website and Menu

A southern Celiac heaven! Serving up a huge gluten free menu, in a kitchen where everything that’s fried is gluten free! That means no cross-contamination in the fryer. Not only that, but Chick-a-Biddy specializes in fried foods, so that means you can find fried chicken, wings, french fries, chicken tenders, and alllll the sides you want. Not to mention the mac & cheese!

I ordered wings with buffalo sauce and a side of fries while my friend got 1/4 lb. fried chicken with veggies & mac & cheese. She asked if I wanted some chicken and it was so different to be able to eat everything she was eating and share plates, silverware, and sauces! (Note: we were on a road trip and ordered to-go, so don’t mind the boxes or judge the presentation 🙂 )

You can visit this restaurant with a huge crew and share off each others plates because they don’t have to order anything different and it all tastes amazing. Add to this the chicken is all-natural and farm fresh. You would never know it’s gluten free. There are definitely some items that aren’t gluten free, including the chili, sandwiches, waffles, and burgers, but not to fear, it’s all very clearly marked on the menu.

Unfortunately this local restaurant has only 1 location which opened a couple years ago, but if anyone else is looking for a brilliant idea for a new gluten free restaurant… I’m so there. They seem to be very busy and are located in downtown Atlanta in the cutest shopping area. Find them for lunch & dinner, or brunch on the weekends. Without a doubt I’ll be stopping by again and again each time I visit ATL. I can’t wait to go back!
