Fresh: Day 43 #100PositiveDays

“You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call ‘failure’ is not the falling down, but the staying down.”

– Mary Pickford

Mason Jars.

I love smoothies. I love mason jars. And I love the sun. Together, these made my weekend something special. I’m busily finishing my semester and heading toward graduation in a month and then moving to begin grad school. It’s very easy for me to get caught up in it all and begin feeling sad or stressed. But every day is a new day, and we are given that chance to have a fresh start. If you find yourself stressed or upset, try taking a day for yourself, to relax and reset. Perhaps wake up and start your day at the gym to get those endorphins pumping. And make yourself a mason jar, guilt-free smoothie to cool off. Continue reading

Grace: Day 41 #100PositiveDays

Possibility: Day 40 #100PositiveDays

“Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”  – Marianne Williamson

IMG_8729 This post is so appropriate, as I have just made a big decision in my life moving forward. I am excited about the possibilities, frightened of the risks, but confident that it will help me in my pursuit to help others reach their full potential. The opportunities I will be given in the future are worth the fears in the present.

It is said, with a shaking voice, onward we march, even on those paths which seem intimidating, so that we may search out the possibilities, without regret or wonders of what may have been.
